pickI was reminded of this book when reading The Museum of Words . I didn‘t know we had a copy. I mentioned it and it appeared from the depths of my partners study. The joy of this book for me are the illustrations. A story in themselves without the words. Not a childhood memory for me but I think it might be for lots of people as it was for Georgia Blain.

The books look fabulous, and two that I‘ve been desperate to read. I‘ve seen so many Littens love Dictionary, and I adored Magee‘s The Colony.
And a Valencian lemon 🍋 bookmark, and Spanish stickers too!
And, to top it all off, it is actually Henry‘s first birthday today - perfect timing! I‘m waiting until hubby gets home to release the squirrels! 🐿🤣
