It‘s a delightful mix of manners, mischief, and magic! If you love Bridgerton style romance with witty banter, sass, and a sprinkle of enchantment, this one‘s for you. Emmeline, a freshly graduated nanny from the Parasol Academy, takes on three mischievous wards—and their brooding guardian, the “difficult Duke” of St. Lawrence. Expect chemistry, secrets, and magical mishaps that‘ll make you smile, swoon, and keep turning pages!

A bright queer Victorian romance featuring bicycles, botany, redemption all over the place, and hilarious side characters. I loved this book! It is always fun finding a book that I can see my own relationship reflected in. I‘m also a sucker for enemies to lovers and redemption of antagonist characters. This book also has some really well done love scenes. #LGBTQIA #VictorianRomance #Botany #Bikes

Fourth book in the Belles of London series.

Stella needs to get out from under her brother's thumb. But how shall this prematurely grey equestrian make a living for herself and her horse. Artist Teddy, bound to a wheelchair, has just found his muse, but does he dare make Stella an offer she should definitely refuse if she wants to protect her reputation?

I liked the representation of a disabled person in Victorian times.⬇️

julesG Otherwise solid #HistoricalRomance. Marriage of convenience that turns into a love-match. 11mo

So much fun just like the others in this series. The narrator is excellent! 🎧

This fun read ticked a lot of boxes for me. The author describes it as an historical mystery romcom, and I can‘t improve on that. And interesting mystery set in Victorian England, a delightful romance between the very likable main characters. What‘s not to love? Picked this up at the library, and now I want to find the other books in the series.

Loved this book! I even read some of it in the car (while in the passenger site), which is a big deal because I usually feel car sick.

This is the 3rd book in the Lady‘s Guide series. Follows Poppy (Flora) and Duke of Langham. Poppy‘s sister is accused of murder and it‘s in the town the Duke‘s estate is in. So they work together and has secret cults.

#thingsincommon - have blurb on cover (this next round of books was hard to match!)

Negatives: needed better editing—there were at least 2 times a character explained to another character the same thing they explained a few pages ago. Toward the end, 1 character was in 2 places at once.
—The 3rd in this series, all have used enemies-to-lovers trope & think all have professed love while the killer is still being taken away.
Positives—a fun, romance with a little mystery. I like the MCs. Easy read. 3.5/5 ⭐️
