With at least 2 hours in, I'm at the middle of A Dance With Dragons. -- I'm impressed to see Duolingo has lessons in High Valyrian 😄 Currently I'm dedicated to Japanese and German, while reaching the top score (30 people in a leaderboard) with my studies.

Ivan Coyote writes with sincerity, warmth and lots of humour about their life experiences, including challenges they faced as a non-binary person. I liked this book as much as their earlier book, Tomboy Survival Guide. Both are highly recommended!

Inspired on true facts about what happened with Jewish children at the end of WWII😢literary fiction story about a woman & her daughter separated during this time in Poland. Beautifully written with open hopeful ending but still devastating☹️Slow reading, have been criticized in some parts like unrealistic behavior of this 5 y/o child.Novel motivated me to read more about this sad period in history (to never repeat it with any culture or race)4⭐️

Book 4 in the series. The conflicts between the Others and the HFL continue and decisions will be taken by both sides. The outcome? you need to read it. Meg will learn another way to reveal her prophesies. Are we seeing some romance coming soon? Book was for me a little slow, first 230 pages were discussing strategies. I appreciate that the author is always giving a summary of previous books in a well integrated manner. 3.8⭐️

Moves at a fast clip. A cold case from the 1970s resurfaces in the present. Fox has been promoted, even though he feels Clarke should have got the job. But the gang still manages to get together to solve the case. The present-day angle has internantional ramifications. Good stuff.

This is a great start to what I would call a hardboiled detective series. Interesting spin: Lennox is a Canadian in Scotland! I would liken it somewhat to Ross Macdonald‘s Lew Archer series, but the violence is more graphic.
