pick5 stars! This was a beautifully written debut novel that takes place during World War II. A story of a mother's sacrifice to keep her child safe in a time when survival seems impossible. Heart-wrenching and captivating, it shows the undeniable and unbreakable bond between a mother and child.
This is a must read for any Historical Fiction fan!
