pickMy favorite in the series so far…I think the writing is brilliant, and the study of human emotions is exquisite. Brunetti reinvestigates a kidnapping when a body that could be the victim is found. But, as always, things are not as they seem, so Brunetti has to parse out the truths from the lies. An excellent addition to the series. #192025 #1998
