Totally forgot I ordered this book in May!! My brother arrived from the States bringing my #BOTM books and two others ( about to post) 😄 I only have 2 book credits left and I was going to cancel my subscription but looking at these new #BOTM picks makes me a little sad to think about canceling my membership. I‘ve been a member since May 2016. Are you missing #BOTM @Megabooks @Reviewsbylola ???

Megabooks I think Steph still has it. I do not miss it. Since I‘ve been reading much more print nonfiction and increased my fiction audiobooks, I think having that extra $15-30+ a month has made me able to make better decisions for me. I‘ve really been looking closely at how I can optimize my finances, and BOTM just didn‘t fit my needs anymore. 🤷🏻‍♀️ and I don‘t miss picking as much as I thought I would. 3y
Megabooks I think @MicheleinPhilly and @vivastory dropped this spring as well. 3y
Amandajoy I dropped my BOTM membership about 3 years ago and switched to the recommendations only option from My TBR. I love it. 3y

Cinfhen That‘s a good idea @Amandajoy I really haven‘t been that thrilled with their selections but the thought of ending things is giving me #FoMo @Megabooks 3y
MicheleinPhilly I did cancel a couple of months ago and haven‘t missed it at all. I‘ve read a few of the selections via library borrows and do not regret my decision. It‘s not as if you can‘t buy or borrow the books from another outlet. Also in my experience all BOTM picks end up as Kindle daily deals in a few months. 3y
Cinfhen My issue is I have no way of getting my books to Israel anymore as less and less people are traveling @MicheleinPhilly I also don‘t have ready access to bookstores or a good local library and Amazon charges a fortune for delivery to Israel so I‘m limited in how I get new releases 3y
vivastory I agree with @micheleinphilly I canceled my subscription in Dec but had one unused credit that kept rolling over every month until July because I never really saw anything that I wanted to immediately read. I don't have any regrets, I've been catching up with my botm backlog & I'm fortunate enough that my library is well stocked that I can usually grab a new book a few months after publication. I've also been utilizing B&N sales for new books 3y
vivastory Reading your above comment & how you're restricted with options I don't blame you for keeping botm! I do agree with @megabooks that it's obnoxious that they've stopped including as much nonfiction (edited) 3y
Reviewsbylola Oh girl, I came back. My cancellation lasted maybe two months. 😂 I‘m even back to two accounts, although I don‘t usually use my second account. 3y
Amandajoy If you have issues getting books to you in Israel, the My TBR recommendations may work really well. You get three recommendations every quarter and then can get the books however works for you - kindle, library, audio, whatever. Out of about 36 books recommended, they‘ve only been 3 I didn‘t really like. I‘ve only had a little fomo with missing BOTM, but not often (most recent was The Other Black Girl, but I may just get it on audio.) 3y
Cinfhen Hahaha 🤣 #Weak @Reviewsbylola #NotHelping 💕😘 3y
Cinfhen Yeah/ it‘s a mixed bag @vivastory @Amandajoy but truthfully the $100 plus dollars I spend on #BoTM I can just keep buying extra Audible credits which are 3 for $30 which is a better deal or just as good!! 3y
BarbaraBB Your brother arrived! It‘s a full house! Have fun (and me-time 😃) 3y
