Here we go again. Headed to Kona today, the first of 3 day trips this week. I should finish the tagged book in transit.
The airport lounge is hopping this early morning. I think it‘s a Monday thing.

I didn‘t do a great job of taking a picture of yesterday‘s #IndependentBookstoreDay haul but I got a good haul. My local indie bookshop, Da Shop had 20% off all purchases, a free bookstore print after 2 pm & a new tote bag with the same print from a local artist plus a few local vendors. This is the first in a series so we're introduced to a lot of people in town and given the lay of the land. I'll probably read the next one.
This one, stories set in Hawaii, is my pick for #FictionalTraveler April #Island & it‘s one of my April #Roll100 picks (#24 Any stories or essays ).
It‘s good incentive since it‘s been in my TBR since I bought a signed copy from a local book store when it was released.
Thanks to these Litsy folks for today‘s prompt:

TODAY‘S PROMPT: CLOUDS
I was a few books into this series before I realized there was a prequel, so now that I‘ve finished what‘s been published, I circled back to it. This is good entry point to meeting all the characters, and nice to see Molly and Emma meeting Pat for the first time. These are fun mysteries that get living in Hawaii right.
