pickI so enjoyed this and needed this, too. Whipple is a favorite! I thought some the characters almost over the top — hard to believe they were from the same family. But oh! Can she capture the internal monologue of despair. (If only they would TALK to each other…)

In other news, it‘s #LetterMo which means a few of you in this lovely Litsy space will be getting mail from me, I am devouring a #Persephone edition 😍 for #CC50, and I have 3 remaining TOB books yet: Subdivision, Echo Wife, and Copeland Cain. I‘m also joining in on a read of The History of Love.

Does anyone have an opinion if Matrix could be considered “genre-blending”? I need to fit that category for the #ReadICT Challenge.
pickA tough read, really. Much more scholarly approach needed than an expectation of entertainment. The first third is all explanations of its discovery and place in history so it almost felt like nonfiction. #CC50 #ClassicsClub

pickI finished a #BookSpin! It‘s the #DoubleSpin position on the #BookSpinBingo but I should be through both by the end of today. LOL
I know the story of Alice, of course, I think most people do, readerly people, any way. 😉 But I have no recollection of really READING this. And I expected it to be tedious. 😱 It was not! I enjoyed it. Whew, I feel so much better saying that outloud.
