pickI loved Not Your Sidekick a lot. The book is charming and cute, cleverly placing a lot of weighty messages in the background. Anyone who loves comic book superhero fun should enjoy this. The twist is that it's set in a dystopian future, and all these superhero/supervillain fights are part of a larger conspiracy. The ending is a bit rough; I hope book two might better explain how Jess and her parents aren't in prison. #YALit #superhero #CBLee #WNDB
