pickI went into this one with higher hopes. Every time Evelyn and Arden find each other, is intense and emotional. And each time, he takes her life. The concept and writing are beautifully morbid, but the ending and the why fell flat for me. Book #76 in 2026 ⭐️⭐️⭐️

That was ALot of Jansson and Dahl! My fav are in the collage, but i have to admit Dahls books have influenced my sense of humor bunches, for good or bad. And now I'm also disappointed in Gaiman. So 😩
I am unsure about the inclusion of LoTR as a children's book? Plus my personal pref would have been for Five Children and It for Nesbit, and where's Secret Garden? Tagged looks interesting!
pickThe ultimate page-a-day read. Finished one day before the end of the year because this year had one extra day. I enjoyed this, some days more than others, but i think reading it again in a couple years would bring more poignant moments to light. #76-2024

pickA sweet, unfolding story full of chemistry and big emotions. This is a perfect, fun summer read. I wish we got Felix‘s POV, that‘s the only thing that could‘ve made this better. Book #76 in 2024
I'm taking a long weekend, with Monday off, for self care reasons and planning to finish the tagged book for #Roll100 #76. I've never read it and have been intrigued lately when I saw some FB friends complaining about this being inappropriate for their kids to read in school. I'm 1/3 into it, and it seems fine for school reading to me. What am I missing?

pickA fantastic, twisty, scandalous mystery! The soap opera life of Sloane was annoying sometimes, but the story was masterfully told and the ending was the icing on the cake. I couldn‘t put my kindle down and had to keep reading. Book #76 in 2023

It was okay. I liked the premise, and the writing was good. It just wasn't as "thrilling" as I would like from a thriller.
pickOooh I love a title with double meaning!!!! Everlynne sucked me in right away with her wit and intelligence. Her self loathing and going back and forth was annoying but she‘s in her 20s so it‘s understandable. I saw the twist coming and it still tore my heart and turned my stomach. I felt all the emotions with this one. Book #76 in 2022
