Some of the folks who joined in on today‘s monthly meeting of the #2030SomethingBookClub 😁👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻! We‘ve been conducting #Zoom meetings since March, and hopefully we can have our first in-person meeting in August, which‘ll be in Central Park. This was an interesting meeting. This book had most of the members really disliking it, but by the end of the meeting, most had changed their minds to liking it. 🙂

Book Clubbing!: Successful Book Clubs for Young People | Carol Littlejohn

Finished up the #2030SomethingBookClub‘s monthly meeting! 😁👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Our January meeting is unique in that we don‘t all read the same book; instead, we read the particular book we won in December‘s holiday grab bag and then talk about that one. *Great* way to rapidly build-up one‘s TBR list! At least two people can get your interest piqued, the receiver and the giver.

These are the 2 I read (don‘t know how I wound up with two 😆🤷🏼‍♂️).

meagankc21 My cousins and I did a book club like that for a while. We had such differing tastes and scheduled that the easiest way to discuss our current reads was to just make it a book club medley. It's really fun actually 4y

alysonimagines I love The Remains of the Day! Recently I gave a copy to a bookish friend—it‘s a title I have recommended to him more than once. Then he gave me a copy of The Master and Margarita, a title he has recommended to me more than once. So it‘s interesting that both titles show up in this list! 5y

Jess Educated will give you the best book discussion but all my votes go to The Great Believers. Loved that book. 5y
