QUESTION: Is there a limit to how far up the bracket a reread should go?

I don‘t reread often (or ever) but I‘m so glad I did. I got so much more out of Ninth House the second time around and now I‘m freshly caught up for the sequel.

Bookshops and Bonedust took the top spot for August, but The Mountain the Sea beat it out to move forward in the #2023ReadingBracket @chasjjlee

It was difficult to choose between the last two months because I enjoyed both of them in very different ways. #2023readingbracket

Words of wisdom from two beautiful souls that are no longer with us — another hard choice. #2023readingbracket #nonfiction

This was a difficult choice between completely different classics but despite all the good feelings I have about GE, TFA just blew me away. #2023readingbracket #fiction

Just updated my #2023readingbracket The second half of the year is starting out pretty strong. Had a hard time picking between July and August. The reason I picked Hello Beautiful was because a lot of the appeal of Tom Lake was Meryl Streep reading it. Both very good books though!

Pickpick

I know this one was too aggressively quirky for some reviewers, but it hit me just right at the time I was reading it. I felt so much kinship with the MC, her loneliness and her struggles to communicate. My pick for August.

The tagged book was my favorite read of August and probably gonna be in the running for my favorite book of the year. #2023ReadingBracket #bookclubread
