Just finished listening to this book for three hours today. There was a lot of talking and planning and fighting creepy, crawly monsters with a very tiny bit of romance thrown in. The end could be taken two ways - interesting. #120 #BookSpinBingo #6 #BFC21 #BOOKED2021 #SERIES2021 #Buzzwordathon #FallIntoReading #NotSoScaryathon #Scarathon2021 #Screamathon #Frightfall #Spookoween #LittenListen #OctoberReadathon #Spooktober #Wickedathon

#120 of 2020. In this story. George Washington became King so the U.S. has a royal family. This is about the current day royals in the family. Although as a history buff I find it funny to think the U.S. would have a monarch, this was a fun read. I really enjoyed it. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is it... book #120...
A year ago when I set my reading goal of 120 books this year I didn‘t really think I would make it, but thanks to Covid forcing me to slow down this year I did it!! I am beyond excited and am now wondering what 2021‘s goal should be! #booknerd

#120 of my year. This one is one I picked up at that huge book sale last year and has been in my kitchen cabinets the whole time lol I need taller bookshelves. Anyways it sounds interesting and is a short read so yay let‘s get it! I‘m listening to For You by Once A Tree ♥️ I‘m going to chug coffee, blast music, ignore my responsibilities, and read the week away 😉🤘🏽Also the other books are potential TBR 🤓

Sleepswithbooks Your mug is awesome ✨ 3y
Caffeinated_Reader @Sleepswithbooks thank you so much! I got it in my subscription box from Caffeine and Legends 🥰🥰🥰 3y
Caffeinated_Reader This was a witty and wise little collection. I got a few chuckles out of some and actual wisdom from others. Definitely enjoyable and would recommend. (edited) 3y

The Fact of a Body: A Murder and a Memoir | Alexandria Marzano-Lesnevich

Caffeinated_Reader Meh. It‘s hard to criticize this book without making the authors memories and tragedies come across as being criticized as well. I just have to say I don‘t understand why she was obsessed with the Jeremy case. Why she had to tie herself to that case. I don‘t agree with the in your face way she told her own story. She was very in your face about her own abuse at times repetitive and vulgar but those things tend to be ugly and hard to look at. 4y
Caffeinated_Reader I think everyone is allowed to process their trauma however they see fit and I hope she found peace or whatever she was looking for when writing this book. I didn‘t get a sense of understanding that I was hoping for once I finished it. I, as a reader, was left confused and still wondering why she chose Ricky/Jeremy to compare and contrast with. I felt sad for her and heartbroken for the little girl she was. I just don‘t think this book did what 4y
Caffeinated_Reader It was expected to do for her readers. It didn‘t for me. I give this book 2.5 stars and don‘t recommend it at all. 4y

The Vampire Mystery- 5 points, #chillingphotochallenge (vampire) - 1 point, post - 1 point = 7 points for #teamslaughter #scarathlon @Clwojick 🎃🧛🏻‍♂️👻📚

TheAromaofBooks Does that say it's book #120?! By that point, shouldn't the Boxcar Children be more like... middle aged with their own children? Haha I think I only ever read the original 19ish books when I was a kid, but I did love them. 5y
Charityann Yeah, I know right? Some of the characters used cell phones in this one and I was like what? I forgot to check to see what year this one was published. I haven‘t read one in ages, not since I was a kid, but found this on Libby and decided to listen to it since it went along with the #scarathlon theme. 5y

2017 #120 fantasy audio wonderfully read and interestingly constructed. Not the world as we know but some place but with Victorian leanings and dragons. Creative and fun. Not sure I will pursue the rest of the series.
