Unbeatable Squirrel Girl Beats Up the Marvel Universe | 
pickI really tried to switch from binge reading to video games but after I finished this entire (and entirely delightful) graphic novel while waiting for my laptop to update at the slowest possible pace I think it‘s time to call it a night 😴 But there will be more Squirrel Girl in my future I think! This self-contained story was funny and charming and I really enjoyed it.
I have never related to anyone as much as I do to Squirrel Girl in that last panel. 😂😂😂
pickIt‘s twice as much fun when Squirrel Girl gets cloned… especially when they don‘t see eye to eye. Nice to see cameo appearances from across the Marvel superhero universes, including Thor the Goddess of Thunder. It‘s worth the trouble to read the tiny font commentary across the bottom of each page because it‘s hilarious. The downside to reading Squirrel Girl is that Spider-Man‘s theme song gets stuck in my head. 😜
Tippy-Toe T Tippy-Toes shines in this graphic novel-length Squirrel Girl adventure: “I may be just an ordinary squirrel, but when I‘m on her team? I‘M unbeatable too.”
The message here is ‘Friendship to the max,‘ as the characters in a different comic would say.
pickSuch a fun adventure with Doreen (and her clone Allene)! If you are not reading squirr girl, you are missing out. She is such a positive role model of how to fight against both big and everyday evil, but she is still always working towards compromise, even with "villains." If nothing else, this book shows how dangerous Doreen could be if she didn't love the world its people. I love what she says at the end when she decides to forgive Allene. ❤️?
pickThis is a great book to start with if you‘re unfamiliar with Squirrel Girl. Hilarious, fun and most importantly, an actual story with weight and consequences. For those who cannot believe she is capable of beating all other Marvel heroes (her take down of the HULK is equal parts smart and funny), please read this and realize there is a reason she‘s called ‘unbeatable‘!

And it was distressing but also super funny and creative, and there were footnotes and activity pages and villain trading cards? And I loved it a lot but forgot to review it until two squirrels ran on top of my gazebo and chittered at me?

It's my birthday! I spent the morning with my family, and now I'm gonna do a ton of outdoor reading on the awesome hammock they gave me. It's steady enough for Hannah to join me as I do a little of the old flop-n-read with Squirrel Girl, FORTUNE'S CURSE by Jaclyn Dolamore, and the usual assortment of X-Men comics.
Visiting my parents for the weekend and got a surprise late birthday comic! Debating whether to devour it now of save it for my next migraine. Either way, very excited for extra long squirrel girl!

I feel like ever since last month's marathon #AsianLitBingo challenge reading, I've been floundering from book to book. I did manage to read The Dispossessed. But it took me over a week to read it (granted there were some heavy topics there). So I was pretty excited to pick up these holds from the library yesterday
pickCommander Huggy Q. Loveyface the Sixth! I loved this graphic novel through and through. In fact it's the only book on Litsy that I've seen with any significant number of reviews that still has a 100% pick rating. Everyone loves some Squirrel Girl!

pickThis was a riot! I've thought about picking up Squirrel Girl from time to time but haven't, now I will. The humor was excellent and I liked the idea of a super hero with the ability to talk to squirrels. I've seen comments elsewhere that Anna Kendrick would make a great Squirrel Girl and her sense of humor and timing certainly fit. If Squirrel Girl shows up in a movie I think casting to her physical description will be important.
I think this will be my new personal life catchphrase and it's my current #ReadersResist quote. Oh, I accidentally ended up having a #Litsypartyofone this weekend because books were more interesting than work and everyone here looked like they were having a good time so I thought, hey, why not!

About 30min before #24in48 starts here. Because my reading is a mixture of ebook, audio, and paper, I don't really have a photographable TBR stack to show. I just went with my list instead (color coded by format, 'cuz that's how I roll).

pickdoreen & nancy are the best forever. this is basically just a super-long version of the regular comic. and since i love tre comic, i love it! sure it's not as formally playful as the monthly comic can sometimes be, but it hangs together well and it's really fun. also the art is just getting better and better. so much cuteness, so many excellent fight scenes and distinctive iron man costumes.
I ❤️ Squirrel Girl so much that I don't even mind the puns.

So glad Ryan North kept up with marginalia in the Squirrel Girl graphic novel. As the Hale's say in their intro, this book is a straight-up riot.
pickAn excellent adventure with good banter and plenty of superhero antics. This is great fun for fans of Squirrel Girl (yay Doreen!) or newcomers to her awesomeness and unbeatability! Also good for newcomers to the Marvel universe, who are curious through the movies. Because banter!
pickEnglish translation: I have been enjoying The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl for a while now, but I must admit a lot of it has felt a bit one-note for some time. I always enjoy Doreen's attitude and puns, but plot-wise it has been kind of stagnant. This graphic novel put me right back in it though...I was hooked the whole way through and giggled my butt off. CHIK CHIK CHITTY CHUT!
