Enjoyed my outing in the usual toxic court of the Tudors.
Read too many Tudor books years ago and have given them a miss for a long time. I liked another book this author wrote, I am giving her Tudor ones a go!

Book #23 of 2021. I thought it was great & really brought Katherine Parr to life for me. I also really loved the story of her maid, Dot. Beautifully written. Highly recommend!

This book took me a long time to get into. I thought the story sounded very interesting, but I think the telling of the story itself left a lot to be desired.I don't remember ever learning about Katherine Parr, probably because some of King Henry VIII's other wives led more intriguing lives. I don't think I'll read this book again, but I'll definitely look more into her life.

Trying to get through this book; I got on a 16th century England kick after finally reading "The Other Boleyn Girl." Turns out I don't like to stay on one subject for two books in a row. :/
