pickDark and sad, but gorgeous art and meaty storyline. I love seeing so many superheroes together. I didn‘t love how skimpy some of the women‘s outfits were (pretty sure Dagger‘s costume didn‘t absolutely have to tear right on her ass 🙄).

Dr. Stephen Strange was once a gifted but egotistical surgeon who sought out the Ancient One to heal his hands after they were wounded in a car accident. Instead, the Ancient One trained him to become Master of the Mystic Arts and the Sorcerer Supreme of Earth.
Today we met Black Bolt in our #marvelread .
The king of the Inhumans and a member of the Illuminati. Black Bolt is cursed and blessed with a quasi-sonic voice. With the slightest whisper he can destroy cities with the loudest screams he can level planets.

Meet Namor! Namor the Sub-Mariner is the ruler of undersea Atlantis. The offspring of a sea captain and an Atlantean princess, he has been both a hero and a villain to the surface world. Namor is one of Marvel's oldest published characters with his origins in The Golden Age of Comics.

This is Captain America, or Steve Rogers, one of the key players in the Civil War line. He was normal before given a super serum to make him the ultimate soldier to fight the Nazis in the 40's. He then ended up frozen and was rediscovered and is currently fighting crime 👊🏼.

pickThis is a fascinating story about WHY tony stark decided to start the registration act that would lead to the Civil War. The homage to watchman (which I hate btw) is only in the story, not in the characters which makes this graphic novel pleasant to read while also being fascinating. I thought the poetry excerpts were a nice choice. And it suggests a solution to the age old super hero comic I've always wondered about - what to do with Villains
