Currently reading. Bird Box vibes for sure. I picked it up from the cover alone, about 100 pages in. Not sure where it's going exactly.

Fun book day!!

Rec‘d package from @Graciouswarriorprincess 😯 But no #? Maybe #jolabokaflodswap ? Can‘t wait, either way - thank you! 👏🏼👏🏼
And rec‘d #coffeebeanbookclub #cbbc for Dec & Jan!! Thank you @Callemarie for the adorable mugs & cocoas!! Perfect for me & hugs to share ☺️. And I love chocolate hazelnut wafers and Lindt truffles 😍🥰 Merry Christmas to you!! ♥️🎄♥️
Small haul for Independant Bookstore Day, but I got to chat with one of the owners (who I hadn't seen in awhile) and the pen was on sale!
I chose this audiobook based on this creepy/gorgeous cover and I‘m so glad I did! This was a super quick scary listen which made my Saturday morning chores go by in a flash. The loneliness and terror of not being able to look anyone in the eyes lest you go murderously crazy really got under my skin, and I loved the sort of overarching question of whether you might go mad anyways, or whether we are all inherently that way to begin with. 🌟🌟🌟🌟
I love a good short book that surprises me. Here‘s this week‘s surprise! There‘s plenty of creepy body horror. There are points when you wonder ok why are you so INSANE?! Are you kidding me! In this dystopian story you cannot look into someone‘s eyes or it nay be the last sane thing you do. Body horror. It was a great palate cleanser between books, I can see myself listening to this again. Read by the author. Cover buy!
