pickThrilled to get a new Lacey Flint entry because I honestly thought Bolton had given up on her. Those who know me know that I am a frequent consumer of series fiction featuring the most depraved serial killers and criminals. Honestly I found this book, where the perpetrators are incels and others peddling toxic masculinity, to be more terrifying than any serial killer. It was chilling. I do hope we don‘t have such a long wait for a new one.
pickI was so happy that we finally got a new Lacey Flint. It wasn‘t my favorite in the series and I found it somewhat predictable which hardly ever happens for me with Sharon Bolton. I also felt like it was a little long for the plot. But I‘m glad I read it! 😊 🌟🌟🌟✨ 3.5-4
