Anyone else freely write notes in your cookbooks? I do; on this page I halved the carrots & celery and doubled the tortellini. Kids enjoyed the soup despite the veggies. 🥕🥬

A day full of cooking and baking today! It‘s for a good cause, my best friend had her first baby and I‘m taking her fresh lasagna, freshly baked pepperoni bread, Caesar salad, and chocolate olive cake for dessert. I remember those newborn days when cooking seemed like such a chore, so I‘m very excited to be bringing her lunch tomorrow ❤️
Can I spell “glutton?” Took advantage of a sale at Target. 🤭 After previewing them both, I think I prefer the tagged book.
#Mtcookbook Just adding to the possibilities, not adding to the climb. 😆

First stop on my Hudson Valley book trail was Scattered Books in Chappaqua! Home of three precious book bunnies! Highly recommend checking out this friendly and inviting bookstore 🐰I got the tagged book (a new cookbook by one of my fave authors) and another by a local author, plus one of their signature mugs!
The first recipe I‘m going to make from my new cookbook. I wish I was on vacation eating a grouper sandwich instead of living in batshit crazy April weather Ontario, but it is what it is 🤣🤣 hopefully it turns out looking this good ( I know it will taste amazing, all of the Half Baked Harvest recipes do)
