Just enjoying the series so much! So much as happened in this book, it's hard to do a synopsis. The residents in the nursing home are moved to a safe house but they still have to fight monsters, granny and Mary are still at ends with each other and more iconic figures show up in the book. Beautiful graphics and amazing story. Looking forward to finishing it with the next volume.

In this volume, our heroes continue to fight monstrous versions of characters from British folklore. The plot is quite chaotic but I love the characters.

Gillen ramps up the action by having multiple undead King Arthurs battle for supremacy. I love the idea that Shakespeare is the greatest monster hunter of all time because he used plays to domesticate deadly stories.

Once & Future absolutely rules. Gillen, Mora, and Bonvillain are totally in sync. Gillen's writing is fast paced, Mora's character designs are intricate, and Bonvillain's colors are wonderfully bold. O&F perfectly balances action and horror. In this volume, the monsters and mythical figures proliferate, as Otherworld overtakes the UK.

#NCBD otherwise known as the best day of the week! Lots of fun stuff today—Wonder Woman, spooky evil house, Star Wars, Slumber (first issue), pirates and the tagged book.
