I don't normally read mass market authors, but let's give this one a go! I picked it up today from a local resale book shop.

Well after some research it's book 2 in a short series, but I think I can read it as a stand alone. Ugh I hate that they don't openly tell you this. This is why I don't often read mass market.

Regardless, it seems like it will be a good and quick read.

Anyone read this one yet?

The_Book_Ninja Everything he writes seems to get turned into a Netflix show. I avoid for that reason. Good luck though 11mo
LoverOfLearning @The_Book_Ninja yeah I can understand why. It's actually not bad and is really a quick read. I'm 26% in so far. 11mo
Cinfhen It was good, quick read and you don‘t really need to read the first book - enjoy 11mo
LoverOfLearning @Cinfhen oh good! Yeah that's what I thought! 11mo

Definitely not one of my favorite Harlan Coben books, but I was very happy to finish up this March #BookSpin book just in time for the end of the month! ⭐️⭐️⭐️ @TheAromaofBooks

#DecisionsDecisions Fluff or Heft??? Who am I kidding???? Probably #BrainCandy 😉

TrishB Yeah, me too! Have this Coben, not sure why I haven‘t got to yet. 2y
rockpools I‘m sure Case Study is FANTASTIC but I look at the cover and see a textbook. Not too sure what - this is the closest I‘ve found, which my best friend at school used to use to flag down trains at her request-stop station (that might be a Devon thing!) 2y

Cinfhen I started the Coben @rockpools @squirrelbrain but then one of my mom‘s friends spotted me by the pool and started yapping … for 2 hours!!! Lovely but totally cut into my reading time 😡 2y

Started this one yesterday and raced through it. A follow up to ‘The boy from the woods‘ and another fast paced story. Wilde is trying to discover where he came from and a match on a dna website starts a mystery involving reality tv stars and vigilantes.
The ending left me wanting the next in the series!

I‘ve read every one of Harlan Coben‘s books. They‘re always good mysteries with twists. But I never feel like I‘ve read something substantial. That said, this story about a man looking for his parents, along with some reality show actors thrown in, and a vigilante group doing their thing, moves along at a rapid clip. Quick and harmless, but only rates a so-so.

I really enjoyed this one! I like the characters of Wilde and Hester. I was genuinely surprised by who turned out to be the killer and the mysteries of Wilde‘s family tree. I enjoyed the different characters that popped up. The world of reality tv was a bit much at times. If you‘re a fan of Coben, you‘ll like this one! I wonder if he will write another book featuring Wilde.

This one is sooo good, y‘all! The 2nd in Coben‘s Wilde series did not disappoint - such a great follow up to The Boy From The Woods. Hester Crimstein is one of my favorite crossover characters in the Coben universe so this series was a Win for me from the beginning. (Sorry, bad pun, but if you know, you know 😆)

The latest Coben book, still one of my favourite authors!
I love Wilde and I love Hester so this book was a winner! I really enjoy the cheeky cross over of books, for example Hester using Win's "articulate" when she answers the phone. I bawled my eyes out at the end ?

𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐚𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐧 takes seemingly unrelated story threads, populated by fascinating characters, & seamlessly melds them into a cohesive, riveting story. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡 is a fast-paced tale about DNA testing, reality t.v., social media influencers, online trolls, & sudden fame. And Wilde's history is 𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 revealed! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

aperfectmjk I had to step away from NetGalley. I just don't have time to review books like I used to. Now I just wait for them to be released like the rest of the public. 🥺 2y

Tove_Reads @eadieb If they don‘t get the Corbens, what will they get? Isn‘t this one on NG US? 2y
Tove_Reads @aperfectmjk I keep my list of unread books very short - 10. Then it‘s totally manageable. I don‘t request too much. 2y
Tove_Reads @Alfoster He‘s one of the top authors of all times! 2y
EadieB @Tove_Reads I read the first of the series from my library so I presume they will get the 2nd of the series.

Alfoster @Tove_Reads Exactly! I met him at the LA Festival of Books years ago and he was so warm and friendly! 2y
Tove_Reads @andrew65 This whole who gets what is a mystery to me. I‘ve stopped requesting from several publishers due to not getting the books because I don‘t live in the UK. However, I‘ve gotten the Cobens Ive requested, including this one. 2y
