As I scrolled Libby for unread EH books I found 2 novellas serving as epilogues to books I‘d already read. The left is a 10 yr update to the Foley/Levin gang making their way back to the New England area. And the tagged takes place a year after the death of Mallory (28 Summers) when the gang returns for the 30th anniversary of Cooper‘s 1st bachelor party. Both were quick fun updates to the Nantucket community I‘m convinced I know personally!

Cinfhen So true!! The Nantucket gang really does feel like longtime acquaintances 😃 2y
marleed @Cinfhen I‘m pretty sure if I ever end up on Nantucket I‘d be like - What, wait, where are my people!? 2y

This #novella picks up about 2 years after 28 Summers. It was good seeing the characters again on Nantucket, although I was still frustrated with the last book. 😤 But if you enjoyed 28 Summers then definitely read this. I enjoyed it. 4⭐️

Loved this book and I loved that it answered a lot of my questions that 28 Summers left me with. But... the ending was disappointing.

If you loved 28 Summers, you will probably love this novella that wraps up the stories of those characters. I didn‘t love it because I thought the main characters in 28 Summers made ridiculous decisions and deluded themselves into thinking they had this “epic” love when really the main female character lived half a life and the male one is just a cheater. But Hilderbrand is still trying to convince us Mallory lived a full life in this follow up.
