It tells a simple, human story of the turmoil we collectively faced in 2020 and beyond, that initially separated us, then connected us. Told through the eyes of an elderly man and his dog, it‘s a hopeful and moving little book. Loved it….

A beautiful adult picture book on how we got through the early days of covid.

Not deep or life changing, but it was…soothing. Felt calm and relaxed when done. Maybe it‘s a reading meditation book. Enjoyed the illustrations and it was a quick read. Overall, it was a comfort read.

Honestly underwhelmed by this book. It appears to have such promise, but didn‘t feel like it had enough to it. This oncoming storm the old man and his dog weather seem to symbolize COVID coming to (mainly) New York City. This page made me think of Italy. It just felt like it was lacking it what it seems to build itself up as. The art is still beautiful and and short phases are pretty calming, but nothing too deep.
