pickLoved this conclusion (?) to the Brooklyn Brujas trilogy! Rose is such a fantastic character and her adventure is an exciting ride. The thread of family that connects and enhances all three of these books is wonderful. I‘m hoping we‘ll get a Nova book soon!
I love this! And I love how comfortably everyone seems to accept Lin‘s gender—or lack thereof.

While I was organizing tags on Libby, I came across this little gem I‘d tucked away for later and saw that it was available to download, so I decided that later had become now. What a lovely ending for the series!
Now I‘m back to “clearing the decks” of 2020 books and need to finish at least two more in the next six days. A nice holiday weekend is a good opportunity to do that!

pickAn awesome ending to a great series! Loved rose so much and all the characters. The story kept me turning the page and I didn't wanna leave this world, much like rose didn't want to leave the kingdom of adas. Every time I thought I knew where the story was going it twisted and turned. Còrdova really upped the ante in this one. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

pickI was so excited to read about the third Mortiz sister, Rose, to come into her bruja powers and this didn‘t disappoint! Rose‘s is the youngest of the sisters and is a fixer but lately she has been feeling lost. On the night of her Deathday party she confronts her father and they are whisked away to the fairy realm, Adas.
Great story filled with high packed adventure with amazing and diverse characters!

Currently reading tagged book and there are so many little errors like using “my” instead of “me” (see underlined yellow part of pic). Usually this wouldn‘t annoy me but there have been a lot more than I normally find.
Did anyone else notice this while reading this book?
so-so*sigh* I wanted so much more than I ended up with. Rose, the youngest Mortiz sister, asks the Deos for the truth at her Deathday party and gets more than she bargained for. I felt like there was little, if any, resolution to what Rose's actual power is. The end gift wrapped itself into vague 2 page chapters. I have more questions than answers and I hope there's more coming. The typos in this book were so awfully distracting too.

I‘m very excited for the third book in the Brooklyn Brujas series! The third sister is very intriguing. It just came out so I don‘t know if I‘ll get my hold in time for Latinx Heritage Month, but maybe my hold on Mexican Gothic will come in instead! #integrateyourshelf

Spent some of my birthday loot on these babies today!! I couldn't pass up the Golden Girls bookmarks either! I listened to the audio for Evelyn Hardcastle and the Setterfield but I needed to own them. Crazy excited for the final Bruja book too!!!
