A cry for help, or humblebrag?
pickI finished this one the other day. It was a strange and interesting read. Set in the mid 1800's in Persia, in the world of Qajar monarchs and others of importance, it tells the stories of an intertwined cast of characters. It revolves around the poetess of Qazvin, who is based on a true character about whom little is known, and focuses on women and education and reading - their struggles for more than their lives allow.

Does anyone else here suffer from reader's palm? My hand is really hurting, the area your local chiromancer would call the Mound of Venus (by the thumb.)
