I was sorry to learn of Thich Nhat Hahn‘s passing today. I had just ordered this book yesterday, as I‘m new to his work and I‘m looking forward to learning from his experience as a peace activist, Buddhist monk, and interfaith leader.
Giving it another go this morning - have my cranberry apple tea and some Thich Nhat Hanh to start off #24in48 #24in48readathon #daytwo
Getting super restless, so switching to a new sun drenched location and totally different format than a novel #24in48 #24in48readathon @24in48
This date is always filled with such mixed emotions. My oldest brother's birthday - and he always LOVED to celebrate any occasion. Unfortunately, it will be 5 years tomorrow since he died suddenly. Eating all my feelings with these cupcakes and reading a few pages of How to Love. I'm 100% sure Thich Nhat Hahn would not endorse the 'eat your feelings' philosophy, but I'm only human. #emotionoverload

Well, my vacation is off to a bad start as I'm still feeling very sick but at least today I can lay down with my kitties and my books and some hot chocolate, so that's actually a good start! 😊😸☕️
