I was expecting something much different. I thought it would be more focused on prayer, even if it wasn't strictly Christian. My TBR list is too long to spend time on this.

Day 10 while listening to The Girls and getting this amazing email. I'm so excited to announce that I've accepted the position of Head Librarian on Litsy.

Come August 1st that book database becomes my job, making it clean, organized, and correct. I'll be coming up with a standard for Litsy's database and then taking volunteer librarians to help along the way.

I'm so excited to be on the @Litsy team this is the dream job! 🙌🏼

maximoffs @Autumn not sure about a tech librarian, I think that's her day job and not with Litsy, but the volunteers will help clean up the database, add books, make sure things are to standard and such. 8y

BookishFeminist Congrats! 🎉🎉 you'll be fabulous! Would love to be a volunteer librarian when you get to it. If you don't mind me asking, how'd you find out about this opening? I've been looking for work & keep checking the website but they only list an IT position. 8y
maximoffs @BookishFeminist Thank you!! I actually reached out to them on Twitter back in May about their database needing work, and we've been in discussion about what's needed and what would be best for Litsy since then. I'll totally hit you up when volunteer time comes about. 8y
