Not to mention power . . . and the struggle for it. The world knows Lamar Odom as a two-time NBA world champion who rocketed to uncharted heights of fame thanks to being a member of both the storied Los Angeles Lakers and the ubiquitous Kardashian empire. March ended with 24 books read. 🥳🥳

12 audiobooks 🤭
11 physical books
1 literary magazine (Slightly Foxed)

I‘m back at work full time so I highly doubt that April will end with such high numbers. 😂

emilyhaldi You must live like Alex now, with headphones always in your ears 🎧 3y

Mehso-so

Ngl, I read this one mainly for the love story of Lamar and Khloe. Something about their relationship as depicted on KUWTK seemed so genuine to me. Unfortunately, Lamar focused way more on his basketball career and addiction than he did on Khloe or even the mother of his children, Liza Morales. Even the death of his infant son Jayden was only touched on briefly.

Overall, this one didn‘t blow me away. I need Scott Disick to write a book. 😂

Megabooks I almost read this. I only watched a couple of early seasons of KUWTK. I started watching the old episodes of The Girls Next Door on Amazon Prime and read this. It was really juicy. Definitely didn‘t disappoint! (edited) 3y
Megabooks I love that you‘re my trashy tv buddy! 3y
Reviewsbylola Lol I‘ve read that!! You know I love my trashy tv. 🤪 @Megabooks I discovered a series yesterday that I‘ve been binging all weekend. Born Behind Bars on A&E. It is so sad. 3y

Megabooks @Reviewsbylola I‘ve been watching Jersey Shore Family Vacation. The latest season is really mediocre. 3y
Reviewsbylola I haven‘t bothered with Family Vacation. Probably a sequel that didn‘t need to be written. 🤣 I just feel that it could never be possible to recapture the magic they once were. @Megabooks 3y
Megabooks The first three seasons were good...then snooki left. 3y
Megabooks She‘s the whole damn show! 3y

Pickpick

Wow! This one hit me unexpectedly. I am a huge Laker fan and so I loved Lamar Odom but I had no idea about his back story and hardships. However, on the other hand the bts stuff about what privilege comes when you have money was sickening. Finally, the last chapter was so hard to get thru and just heartbreaking.
