julesG Yes. I'm underwhelmed. But that's definitely a me-thing. I expected more muscles and taller guys. Which is ridiculous, because we know how tall they are.🤦🏻‍♀️ 3w

TheSpineView @julesG I read that the Casting call requirement was actors at least 6'. I guess there are not many that are 6' 7" and above. 3w

julesG Actors tend to be on the shorter side. ??‍♀️ My son's 6'6" should have sent him. ?? He'd make a great vampire with a mean accent. 3w

Love the cover for this one. It was fun learning more about Payne and V. It was cool to see such the great connections for Butch, too. This book was much better than the previous book, though it still had some heteronormative BS going on. I‘m not sure why Penguin Audio insists on breaking up the audiobooks the way the do, but at least they kept the same narrator.

I have PT in the morning and I haven‘t done any of the exercises this week because I‘ve been battling shin splints, ankle pain, and arch pain because of the physical therapy. I‘m still half tempted to cancel for tomorrow and wait until next week. alas, the brothers would push through and Wrath would make them, so…

GingerAntics @julesG she doesn‘t pay attention, so I‘m shaking for an entire exercise, hurting myself, and when she look up in the last 15-20 seconds she‘s all “shaking, I love it.” I‘m over here trying not to pull something. I pulled my freakin groin last week while I was here. 🙄 So not a fan, but here I am. If she could just figure out that my bloody name wasn‘t “MEE-gan” I would maybe be cool. 3y

GingerAntics @julesG it really does have so many threads to follow. They seem to get more complex as they go, because there is all this history that gets woven in, especially with John‘s story and now Payne‘s. Have you figured out who John really is yet? 😏 3y

julesG It's so obvious. Thinking about it, I suppose I knew even before he first met Beth. Not entirely sure what to say about the Omega's son thing. That felt a bit tacked on. Though I liked the red herring that Qhuinn might be the rotten one, because of his mismatched eyes. Still knew it had to be Lash, too much evil around him. 3y

GingerAntics @julesG yeah, Lash was evil from the beginning. I also had an inkling that John was Darius, but couldn‘t put my finger on it. I actually googled it before I got to his meeting with Beth. If that wasn‘t clue enough, I would have thought the part where he has a seizure and remembers being in the car as it exploded should have been clue enough. 🙄 3y

I don't know why I'm so addicted to this series. It's like a vampire soap opera with lots of fighting and angsty men. Apparently, that is where my head needs to be during a pandemic.

3rd book read for the #NovelNovember #Readathon

Thinking I'm going to switch up my plans and read Men Explain Things to Me and A Dream So Dark. Both were on sale as ebooks today. Currently listening to Patient Zero on audio.

Finally finished this book after weeks of reading it. This was a pretty difficult book to get through. It wasn‘t Ward‘s best - I gave it‘s 3/5 stars on Goodreads. #books #recentlyfinished #badnarrators #paranormalromance #jrward

1) Rice - I could eat it with every dang meal and I almost do. And It doesn‘t matter the type. Lol.
2) A Polaroid Zip - I use it to print out photos for my vision board and my planner.
3) I‘m reading the book attached to this post, as well as , Beloved by Toni Morrison and The Wrath & The Dawn by Renée Ahdieh.

1) Usually right after dinner. (Though not all the time. It really depends on my day/stress level.)
2) I change into something really comfy, make a cup of tea or coffee, grab a blanket and settle down to read. If I‘m listening to an audiobook everything is the same except I pop in the air buds and set to work on my project!

I was actually a little disappointed in this one... maybe it was just my mood at the time, but it was sooooo angsty. And I had to stop myself from throwing the kindle every time she called him "healer" during sex...
