@AnotherMissBennet thanks for the tag!

1. I don't remember if I have ever bought a book after borrowing it, but my sister bought me both the tagged one and The Picnic after I kept, as she put ir, coveting them when I went to her house, LOL!
2. Yes! I am now in the habit of reading a little from each book I am currently working on each day (or nearly) due to the readalongs.

LitStephanie @TheSpineView Someday I will get used to the tagging functions and not have to leave multiple comments. 4y
TheSpineView @LitStephanie No worries! Thanks for playing! 🌞 4y
i.besteph Welcomeee! 🤗♥️ 4y
i.besteph I completely get what you mean. I‘m reading much more than I used to. The chapter a day readalongs are sooo helpful! :) 4y

Indulging in a small cup of chai - one of my favorite hot beverage treats - while meal planning on this unusually cool, overcast day. #teaandbooks #cookbooks

Can't help but keep thinking of my Texan friends who are trapped in their homes right now. 😢 Their streets are flooded, but luckily the water has stayed out of their homes so far.

I need to start cooking the dishes I'm bringing for Thanksgiving, but first I have to admire my cookbook & current read. Aren't they the perfect pair? Here's hoping the spinach gratin I'm making from Waters' book works just as well. #litsycooks

I-read-and-eat Spinach gratin sounds devine 😍 7y
BooksForYears I'm using the same cookbook for some of my dishes! 🙌🙌 7y
Faibka Sounds lovely, happy thanksgiving! 😊🦃 7y

This is a great cookbook but the writing is so nice I used to sit and read bits of it for fun. It's so calming and lovely. Very basic and simple recipes but they all sounded so good that I wanted everything she included. And now I'm hungry!

Bonus points for the pear reference.

Readable, charming, and informative without being preachy with regard to locally sourced food. This would be a really great starter cookbook - for yourself or as a gift.

Love ebooks - a friend recommends you a book and you download it from your library in one fell swoop. Getting ready to feel some ways about food.
