pickWhoa, this little book packed an emotional punch I was not expecting. I read it in one sitting and cried my eyes out at the end. Loved it. Bonus: There is a chapter that takes place in Old Town Sacramento. Talk about a strong sense of place for me.

I lost my grandmother this past year - my strong, crazy grandmother (who called me her "darling"). This book is really hitting home.

pickPerfect first day of summer read that had me up past my bedtime last night. Sweet, funny, but unflinching when it comes to difficult subjects. I loved it.
