Two new mugs in my Etsy shop! I‘m sure I‘ll be making more P&P stuff, but I stayed up super late last night finishing these designs so I was excited to share them today. 🥰

Y‘all, I try. I really, really try. This is at least the third attempt and I just can‘t get into it. I‘m an English teacher turned librarian. I want to love this book. I want to join in on all of the Austen love going around. I want to be able to classify people by Bennett sister personalities. I really do, so what‘s wrong with me?! 😅

jenniferw88 Have you tried any of her other novels? I believe that everyone has a different order of favourites for her, so it may just be that this one is lower down on your scale than the others. 13mo
Prairiegirl_reading I need a little time to get accustomed to her style. However, I read this a chapter a day last summer with #pemberlittens and that was a really fun way to do it. It felt like less pressure or something? 🤷🏻‍♀️ I‘m sure if you scroll the hashtag you can find the great, funny posts that people did. That also helped me. 13mo
Aveybaby11 P&P is my favorite of hers, but for a starter one of the Austen world I would probably read Sense and Sensibility first. It had her wit, charm, and her flare that was easier to enjoy. 13mo

So Excited!! I finally got Pride and Prejudice! I had read the book online, and wanted to buy it but all the ones that I found were to expensive, so I decided to wait a bit before buying it. Now I‘m glad I did because I went to Costco, (yes, I know know not the most ideal place to find a book. But I like to look just in case there‘s something I like) and I‘m glad I did, because I found one for only $8!!
