Mommy blogs are great . . . unless the blog happens to belong to your mom. Twin sisters Claire & Poppy are accidental social media stars thanks to Mom going viral when they were babies. Now, as teens, they're expected to contribute by building their own brand. Attending a NY fashion week and receiving fan mail is a blast. Fending off internet trolls and would-be kidnappers? Not so much. Poppy embraces it. Claire hates it. Will anybody accept her as "just Claire"? And what should Claire do about Mom's old journals? The handwritten entries definitely don't sound like Mom's perfect blog persona. Worse, one of them divulges a secret that leaves Claire wondering what else in her life might be nothing but a sham . . .

Claire and Poppy are twins that grew up in the spotlight of their moms fashion and Mommy Blog. Now they‘re 17, and Claire wants a normal private life, while Poppy wants to be a star. I can‘t help but wonder if Paige and Alex Drummond (the Pioneer Woman‘s daughters) have read this. So far, it‘s a really cute YA story about the role technology plays in our relationships and self worth.

Carleneishere ⚠️ A warning for some of you: there are quite a few typos in my Kindle version of this! ⚠️ 5y

Still in bed with a nasty chronic migraine, finished book #2 of the day. I need to rally for my brother's birthday dinner tonight, but the construction on our deck right outside my window is not helping. Not feeling optimistic about getting in my 4th run for #BookFitnessChallenge #BFC @wanderinglynn but I did technically meet my goal of 4 walks or runs already this week. I'll just spend a few more hours in bed reading... #ARC #Netgalley

Another little freebie I scored from my BookBub emails that also fits into my #booked2019 challenge! Using this for social media focus.
A YA novel about an internet-famous girl who has grown up through a family blog and vlog and begins to questions a lot of things concerning all of that. Secrets uncovered, interesting new boyfriend material appears. A typical, fun YA read!

kellyann28 @Cinfhen I wasnt totally sold on what I was going to read for this prompt before so when this appeared in my email I was excited! 5y
BarbaraTheBibliophage @Kathrin Here‘s another suggestion for #socialmediafocus. Don‘t forget to search the hashtag and see what you find! 5y

I got this ARC from Netgalley. It took me awhile to read because I couldn‘t get into the story and then the ending was rushed to me. The most important thing I got from this book was cyber bullying and too much internet exposure is a problem. Everything else was just meh.

Ever wonder about the kids on those mom blogs you read? Well, JFC a crack at what it might be like to be the child of a successful blog & a YouTube star. JFC is told from POV of Claire -17, & not as into the success her moms blog & the YouTube channel she shares with her twin. She just wants to be normal. But what is normal in a world that lives on the internet? JFC tackles SOME tough subjects while also a fun, relatable story.
