Well beyond moving which is it‘s own adventure, I can officially say I‘m now going to be a Middle School Librarian next year and so excited for this new role in a district that seems so amazing! It felt good to a resign from a job that has drained my mental health the past few years and move on to newer and better things. ❤️

My hubs finally quit his job today, which has been a source of significant stress over the last 18 months. We‘re going to have at least one gap week however so things are going to be tight this month. I already have some of #lmpbc , #coffeebeanbookclub , and most of my #basicwitchswap ready to go. That being said they likely won‘t get much larger this month. I know you all get it! 😘

DaveGreen7777 He definitely made the right decision. No job is worth sacrificing your mental health over. I‘ve had to walk away from jobs that were causing too much stress, and I‘ve always wound up working in a much better environment. Sending your husband best wishes with his job search! 5y

BethM @Avanders @DaveGreen7777 thanks! I already noticed a huge difference in his attitude after he left the job yesterday. He has a conditional offer in a cheese plant, we just have to wait out the physical and such which isn‘t scheduled until Weds. The new place seems nice. The prison had been just slowly killing his soul for years and the last 18 months was by far the worst. 5y

Chrissyreadit @BethM I am on a keto diet - I was dx with diabetes in August- so no worries! Was he in a prison? My husband works in a prison - I have begged him to quit every year and he is too proud to go on disability ( he was dx with PTSD from military service). I‘m glad your husband did - it is a soul crushing job. Also I understand limited funds!!!! Do not worry with me!!!! 5y

BethM @Chrissyreadit yup, he‘s been working in the prison system for about 10 years with the last 7-8 in a max facility women‘s prison. I totally get it. Tell your husband that even one day out mine is 1000 times happier. 5y

Chrissyreadit @BethM he knows- we have not been able to live together for past 5 years because of PTSD and work- he‘s just stubborn. It took him over a year to find work when he left military and he really should just go on disability but he carries our insurance. I told him we would make it work- but because my health has been a problem past 4 years he won‘t. I would rather we were a family though. 5y
