It's been a busy two weeks for me, but I'm officially in Houston!!

As a early birthday present my aunt bought me a bookcase for my books, and she was kind enough to set up the cat condo for Domino 😍 I still have A LOT to unpack, but at least my books are already on the shelves. I start at B&N on Monday, and Book Club Night is Tuesday.

As the countdown continues I'm getting more nervous and excited as each day goes by.

I have a phone interview at 3pm today, and I couldn't be more anxious. Phone interviews are already hard because I can't really read the interviewer, but this one is more nerve racking because it's for a position I REALLY want. I know that it's perfect for me and vice versa. Please cross your fingers and toes for me🤞🤞

wanderinglynn I empathize with you in phone interviews. I hate them for that exact reason and always feel like an idiot afterwards. But my last phone interview turned into a job offer. So have faith. You‘ll do great! Best wishes! 🙏🏻🤞🏻💜 5y

And the countdown begins.

The past few days have been something. I FINALLY told my grandparents that I'm leaving Wisconsin for Texas. I called another Barnes & Noble in Houston about a management position they have open. This morning I sent out the second part of @JoScho #christmasbookswap package. And this weekend I'll start going through everything I want to take, throw, or donate. Of course my books I'm taking with. That's a non-negotiable.

Welp, it's basically set in stone. I'll be moving to Houston in March. I'm SUPER nervous because it's 6 months earlier than I originally planned, but I'm also really excited!! #thislittenismoving #newchapter
