I have been so excited for this! Plus, it seems fitting for my first-ever #graphicnovel read to be a Sweet Valley book! Unfortunately this didn‘t live up to my expectations- there‘s very little continuity with the original series and the brand names and cell phones are distracting... plus, I thought the art work would be... prettier. Because I‘m optimistic, if the series continues, I am sure I will still buy it though! #Booked2019

2 🌟 Maybe it is because I skipped the original SVH books in my teenage years in favor of drawn out fantasy, but I thought this book was a waste of ink and paper. I was hoping to get something like Clueless and in a way I guess I did.

Scochrane26 I loved svh for awhile as a teen but don‘t really want to re-visit because I know they‘re ridiculous books. 5y
