CarolynM That ending was so unexpected and so inconclusive! I‘ve decided the Mrs Murrett thing was a cover and Sophy did go away with Owen, having confessed all. That‘s why he was so keen to get rid of Anna. But was Anna going to marry Darrow or finally ditch him? I can‘t decide. 2y

Tamra @CarolynM I agree! I think Anna went off with Darrow. I concluded that because of her earlier statement to him their happiness depended upon Sophy & Owen‘s. But, who knows?! (edited) 2y
