Loved this dual timeline novel but it dropped me off a cliff !! Then realized I was in the middle of a trilogy...I hope the next one has the answers❤️ Should I go back and read #1??

It‘s a pick but with some big caveats. I would have enjoyed this book so much more if it had come out closer to its predecessor. Instead, I struggled trying to keep track of who all the characters were and the plot because between The Wicked City and this book, there have been at least two, if not more (wonderful) Beatriz Williams books and I kept getting taken out of the story to make sure I had my facts straight.

Saturday morning standardized testing reads. #beatrizbinge

I liked this even more than the first book in the series and I sped through it this weekend! I was a little miffed at the end because it still felt like there were so many unanswered questions, and I almost took off a star until I saw that there will be a third book. Can‘t wait! 5⭐️

I love Williams and her historical fiction. This one did not disappoint.

1-19-20: My 4th finished book of 2020! #thewickedredhead #beatrixwilliams 👍🏼📖#️⃣4️⃣

Review is up on my blog!!! Check it out!! https://reecaspieces.com/2019/12/10/the-wicked-redhead-by-beatriz-williams-wmmor...

I couldn't put this down, which was refreshing after having been a little disappointed in her last couple of books. I love the strong voices of her main characters. This is not a stand alone; you need to read The Wicked City first. It also leaves quite a bit unresolved to set up the next book.

I re-read The Wicked City so I‘d be ready for this. I‘m not yet halfway through it (and loving it!), and now I‘m ready to re-read both Cocoa Beach and Along the Infinite Sea. I love the connections she makes with the characters from book to book. #beatrizbinge??

It‘s a beautiful day in the ‘Sip!! Better enjoy it while I can. And the tagged book is much better than her last...still wordy as all get out but at least it has a decent mystery

Look! I won a goodreads giveaway! Thanks @WilliamMorrowBooks ! Now it‘s time to reread The Wicked City.
