Well, this isn‘t the solution for me. 😬

The fact I detest beets isn‘t the reason I‘ll be rehoming this book. Many of the recipes are meat substitute type dishes, e.g. “hot dogs” or “meatballs”, and I‘d rather just eat straightforward vegetarian or even vegan meals when I‘m so inclined. This book would be good for a vegan who has time to invest.

Susanita Bloody beet burgers?? 😧 3y
Cathythoughts I agree ! I prefer vegetarian foods ... the pretend meats are off putting I think ( and what‘s in them ? 3y
AlaMich I hate beets too...my mother even wrote in my baby book that I refused to eat my strained beets as an infant. 🤣 3y
thegirlwiththelibrarybag @Cathythoughts, usually soy and/or wheat proteins... I don‘t like them either (except for the occasional vegan hot dog 🌭) 3y

I really enjoyed this and learned a lot I didn't know. I feel that this should be required reading. Learning how factory farms cause more air pollution than cars and how all the factory farms in the US are affecting the populations that live near them is shocking. Very educational and lots of delicious recipes to reduce my own footprint! #highlyrecommend
