Based on where I am in my current reads, I think it‘s safe to say I won‘t finish anything else this month. That being said, I finished 16 and completed my Goodreads goal, so there‘s that. I LOVED Titanium Noir. It‘s going to be tough to beat for favorite book of the year. There were a couple of disappointments, but also some great surprises. Overall, a good birthday month of reading. #maystats #maywrapup

#MayTBR Two books carried over from April, LMPBC, a couple of NetGalley ARCs, one miscellaneous book, a horror novel that comes so highly recommended that I don‘t want to wait, a book recommended by a bookseller that needs to be bumped up my TBR, and one of my most anticipated new releases: PUPPETS!!!!! Seriously, y‘all. It‘s so hard to make myself finish what I‘m currently reading because all I want to do is read In the Lives of Puppets.

I finished seven books in May. I only got halfway through the Seeker, but I didn‘t feel like changing the collage again! (It‘s interesting but tense. I‘ll try to read a chapter here and there around my other reading.)

Except for Of Women and Salt, which I found depressing and strangely written (book club mostly agreed), I enjoyed everything I read. Of course the book about a cat was my favorite.

This last week was not a good reading time for me. On Tuesday I was told that the Office Depot I have been working at for the last 4 1/2 years is closing in July. Hopefully I'll get back into the reading groove with this readathon.

RamsFan1963 @Leftcoastzen Yeah that's the part that's going to hurt most, because I've worked with a core group of people for almost 5 years, I think of them as friends not just coworkers. I hope we can keep in touch, but just like when you leave high school, you plan to be friends forever but you eventually drift apart. 2y
