pickI enjoyed this, but not quite as much as I enjoyed ‘The Teacher‘. I found in particular the last few chapters seemed to be written in somewhat of a hurry, with the language becoming more basic and new ideas being scattered hurriedly throughout the writing without being more closely examined. I am hoping that ‘The Angel‘ picks up where this left off and is able to explore these new theories more thoroughly🕵🏼♀️

pickThis book is full on, there are many story lines going on in many time zones so it's definitely a book you need to concentrate on. There were times that I was a bit confused but in the end it all ties together nicely so it's well worth the effort. This is the second book in the series of DI Grey although I'd say it can be read as a standalone.
panStarted off well but unfortunately goes downhill with some obvious dovetailing between two cases and a subplot involving Miles‘s ex. Rating: 2 ⭐️

pickI would definitely recommend this book to lovers of mysteries and thrillers. Diamond really did an excellent job merging all the various storylines and plotted them all together tidily. The ending was left wide open, I can only assume that there will be a third book in the series and I will definitely be checking it out. I really think maybe I need to find time to go back and read book one, maybe I can bump my rating up?
