#COVID19 just closed our libraries. I was just in there returning a book today too! Our mayor just announced that all public facilities including libraries will close.

valeriegeary Ours closed too. š� I mean I'll be fine but they are such a great resource and safe space for our communities. 4y

BookishMarginalia Ours in Manatee County, Florida, are closing for 15 days starting tomorrow at 8 am. That includes libraries. 4y

katy4peas My library (where I work) closed to the public indefinitely. We are pushing online resources and digital library cards. Staff is still working and the pick-up window is open, but no other contact. 4y

katy4peas It is very weird. Especially as the internet gets overwhelmed, more things will stop. It feels like I am living in a dystopian novel. I'm ready for life to return to normal and continue on! š¬ 4y

I‘ve made my coronavirus plan, and informed all my loved ones: Should the need come, where I have to be quarantined for 14 days, they now know to pack my kindle and my phone and both charging cords and bring them...and then leave me alone.
