I prefer mysteries that end with the criminal being revealed right near the end, not at around 75%.

Mehso-so

Not really sure about this one I enjoyed it and then I didn't, it came in waves 🤔 I don't think it helped that it was the 17th book in a series and I didn't really understand Nero Wolfe, so it gets a so-so.

#backpackeurope travelogue *fictional*
Country 31: Montenegro - I went to the capital of Pogorica and saw the Millennium Bridge. I saw the Cijevna river and visited Our Lady of the Rocks (on an artificial island) and Lovcen mountain/museum. I also saw the namesake Black Mountain.
This book was okay, I've never read any Rex Stout before and he's somewhat hard-boiled. It was fun to see him traipse around Montenegro but I won't be any others. 2/5

Visiting the home country of Nero Wolfe during the reign of Tito over Yugoslavia! A bit of a scary time for this child of the Cold War.
