Just Between Us: A Novel | 
pickThis book was on my shelf for a long time but I finally picked it up and I‘m glad I did. It was a good suburban thriller that definitely held my attention. It was told from the point of view of each character and that made it more interesting. I‘m not sure I really saw it ending the way it did so that really made it good for me. I would give this book a high recommendation. I enjoyed it.

panI went into this with high hopes but got disappointed when i was barely 15 pages in. I stuck with it and found some highlights, glimmers of hope; all of which turned out to be misleading. The book was hard to follow and had unreliable story telling mixed with some unbelievable actions and characters.
I volunteered at my son‘s school today to teach an agriculture class. My five year old looked me dead in the eye and said that my footwear choices were a “bold choice”. 😂
In actual book related news: I stuck with Just Between Us, but I‘m still not sure how I feel. I‘ll finish it because mama didn‘t raise a quitter; but this is definitely at the bottom of my list.

pickThis book is like an adult version of Pretty Little Liars. While kind of predictable, I loved all of the drama!
Five of my library holds came in yesterday at once. Looks like I‘m going to have a busy 14 days 🤦🏻♀️ The Chalk Man may have to be put back on the list to read later.
Finished this in a panic because I had to know what happened but I was shaking the whole time. A bit intense at times for me, but still a good suspenseful story! I‘m glad the kitty on my lap kept me calm!
pickDRAMA! But I liked it 😜 I like this suburban mom friend-group story. Four friends/four POVs + a fun plot twist. Each one holds some big secret back from the other friends but is shocked to find that secrets have been kept from her. Also explores how far friends are willing to go to protect one another. This story almost feels satire-ish because of how many CRAZY decisions these gals make without regard to consequence; suspend your disbelief!
