Inner Peace
Inner Peace: How to Be Calmly Active and Actively Calm | Paramahansa Yogananda
11 posts
Peace is not something we can buy: it is something we must learn to find within ourselves. This guide demonstrates how readers can become actively calm, centred in the stillness and joy of our own essential nature while living a dynamic, fulfilling and balanced life.

🌙 reading… especially in the morning with ☕️ before the day starts.

🌙 I try to. It used to calm me and help me sleep, but lately lately the world refuses to be blocked out in the evening.

🌙 I don‘t think it makes a difference. Not sure though.

MoonWitch94 It does seem as though nothing can block the world out these days 😵‍💫 Coffee & reading is the best way to start the day. Thanks for playing 🌙📖🙂 2y

Let my soul smile through my heart and my heart smile through my eyes, that I may scatter rich smiles in sad hearts. ~ Paramahansa Yogananda

I am thankful I bought Easter candy early. Devouring it is good selfcare.
The sun is OUT!
I had a lovely conversation with my plants today. I call them my girls.
I gave the mail lady handsanitizer-she cried.
A lady on my street dresses her dog in a different costume everyday and gives us a show.
I got in a treadmill walk, yoga, 2 loads of laundry &letters put in the mail today.
I‘ve talked with my Misty most of the early afternoon❤️

tracey38 Yau for Easter candy! I brought some to work a couple weeks ago to help us all out! These are great reminders. 4y
Andrew65 The plants were the only thing that gave me common sense today! 4y
TheBookHippie @Andrew65 This is my theory I shall have at least one common sense question a day. 4y
Meaw_catlady This is so true! Glad you are practicing self care!! 💕🖖 4y

I haven‘t gotten used to AZ time, so I keep waking up here really early. And going to bed early. Which is good because I wanted to do a yoga outdoors class and was there at 6:30 am. The view was amazing, and the desert is so peaceful. With the vortexes and desert, I see why yoga is so popular in Sedona.
I‘ve been busy this week but only got enough active min on 3 days instead of 4 for #BFCr2 goals. Still reading my 1st book. @wanderinglynn

wanderinglynn Here‘s how I‘d rephrase the sentence “but only got enough active minutes...”: I made my active minutes on 3 days! (with the exclamation mark). Your goal may be 4 days, but making 3 days is awesome! Be proud of that! 🙌🏻 And you can work to reach 4 days in week 2 or week 3 or week 4. But definitely celebrate what you did accomplish because you didn‘t quit and you‘ve kept moving forward making progress. 😀 5y
Scochrane26 @wanderinglynn thanks for the pep talk! I‘m not feeling bad about my activity because I cleaned house & did other activities that just didn‘t show up on Fitbit. Even with a lot of driving and a day of planes, I still have more activity than usual this week. (edited) 5y
wanderinglynn You did great! And I'm glad you're not feeling bad because you had an awesome week. And that's what I want to celebrate. We (women in particular) tend to use language that diminishes our accomplishments (ex. “I *only* did X“) because we often feel we *should have* done more. It's always good to push yourself to go further. But it's also good to celebrate our awesome accomplishments and use positive language to do so. 😀 #thepowerofpositivity 5y

#Bfcr2 Goals:
Yoga 6 days a week
Meditation daily- 5-10 min
Walk 3 days week- At least 30 min

I already do yoga and meditate- started this in March. This challenge will hopefully get me outside enjoying the beautiful weather, and up my fitness level at the same time.

Kaye Old and crotchety as I am, I pert near have to do a Yoga move to stand up from the couch. 5y
ju.ca.no @kaye there are some very chill moves where you just lie on your back for example😁 i wish I‘d be flexible enough to do those poses in the picture🙈 5y
