Things have been so busy!! We're leaving tomorrow on a road trip to Ontario to visit family. I've been #audiopacking while I get things ready, and I've charged and loaded up my e-reader, so the most important stuff is taken care of. 😉 Not sure how much #LitsyTime I'll have the next few weeks, but I'm always thinking about you all! (And I'll definitely be reading!!)

Kaye Your cover is SO PRETTY ! Do you happen to know the name of it and where you got it ? 6y
sherryvdh @Kaye Thanks! I'm not sure the name or anything. It's a Kobo cover. I bought it a few years ago at Chapters/Indigo. 6y
Kaye Oh, ok, thanks. I dont know of any stores like that around here. Maybe I‘ll see one like it on Amazon. (edited) 6y

Looking for audiobook suggestions for a 12 hour total solo road trip. Any genre except YA or romance. Something that will keep me awake but not so enthralled I miss the semi about to cut me off 😉

wyvik I don't really listen to Audio books but I really liked the book Tiger's Curse. Idk if they have that on Audio books but it's fantasy with a bit of romance 7y

Bookzombie Also if you PIs there is Sue Graftons series or Laura Lippman's Tess Monaghan series (edited) 7y
Smangela @Bookzombie agreed! Born a Crime was great on audio! So was this (if you're a Lauren graham fan) 7y
BookHermit @Smangela @Bookzombie Memoirs and road trips go together really well, don't they? I've listened to several of Mary Karr's books in the car. 7y
BookHermit @Kayla.Is.Reading Thanks! 7y
wyvik No problem! 😜 7y
BookHermit @BooksForEmpathy Ooo, good choices! 7y
BookHermit @coffeenebula I have yet to read any Tara French. Thanks for the rec! 7y
Zelma I listened to Furiously Happy by Jenny Lawson and Into Thin Air by Jon Krakauer on my last road trip and loved both. 7y
BookHermit @Zelma I've been meaning to read Into Thin Air 🤔 7y
KassKho Born a Crime, Heartburn, I Must Say, Clancy's of Queens, Midnight at the Bright Idea Bookstore, The Brief and Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao are all audiobooks up enjoyed this year :) 7y
Fridayfilms Behind Her Eyes was the first audiobook I ever listened to on Audible and it was terrifically fun. Interesting characters and quite twisty. I haven't found another mystery/thriller I've liked better. 7y
BookHermit @Fridayfilms Ooo, that one is on my TBR for sure 👍👍 7y
