Say What You Will
Say What You Will | Cammie McGovern

John Green's The Fault in Our Stars meets Rainbow Rowell's Eleanor & Park in this beautifully written, incredibly honest, and emotionally poignant novel. Cammie McGovern's insightful young adult debut is a heartfelt and heartbreaking story about how we can all feel lost until we find someone who loves us because of our faults, not in spite of them. Born with cerebral palsy, Amy can't walk without a walker, talk without a voice box, or even fully control her facial expressions. Plagued by obsessive-compulsive disorder, Matthew is consumed with repeated thoughts, neurotic rituals, and crippling fear. Both in desperate need of someone to help them reach out to the world, Amy and Matthew are more alike than either ever realized. When Amy decides to hire student aides to help her in her senior year at Coral Hills High School, these two teens are thrust into each other's lives. As they begin to spend time with each other, what started as a blossoming friendship eventually grows into something neither expected.

Yet another #bookspin pic I‘m DNFing. I‘ve read a lot of the picks but occasionally I do get ones I don‘t want to continue with and this one of them sadly. @TheAromaofBooks

BookishGirl06 @TheAromaofBooks lol I just try not to if I can lol. Been tracking all the pics I‘ve read for #bookspin so far and I‘ve only dnfed 3 others so far. Thinking about making a separate wrap up for all the pics and deciding which one I liked the most. 4y

My friend-for-52-years brought her teenage granddaughters over this afternoon. They are both avid readers, and I had this pile of books to give them. They were so excited to pore over my shelves of books, “Oh, I‘ve heard this is great!”, “Have you read this one?”, it was fun to watch! And this was after having lunch with 4 of my high school classmates from that class of 1970. Great day, ❤️❤️

TrishB A List of Cages is one of my daughters fav books. 6y

I thoroughly enjoyed reading Say What You Will! It is about 2 teens. One has a physical disability and the other has a mental illness and their friendship blossoms in a unconventional way. They both realize they like each other and ...
I'm going to be honest and say that I wasn't suuuuper excited to read this, but now that I have I'm so glad I read it. Everyone should read this!

YA
Incredible take and read on people with apparent and not so obvious disabilities.
Matthew meets Amy through a program- and learn so many things about each other. They friendship flourishes into something Matthew can't understand.
I loved this book- it's a wonderful take on life and the possibilities that miss out on.
