Nov 12 #30daysofgratitude @jb72

Shared the Student Driver pic with my daughter. She‘s taking Driver‘s Ed now. I‘m not afraid. My son actually told her I was calm and helpful when he was learning to drive. 🙂

Grateful:
💙 That we have safe & reliable transportation for the family
💙 That my husband LOVES to cook because... I don‘t!
💙 For the health and happiness of my family

jb72 That is so nice! Good luck to her. 3y

Today was a momentous day for me. I let my oldest child drive my car around the neighborhood. She did great (pay no attention to her sister's Snapchat caption), even parking the car in the garage (although this did give me a little anxiety). She probably parks better than me already. 😂 Another parenting milestone.

Yournewfriendsams Haha oh sisters. Love it. 7y
jessdean Haha!! Yay😃 my twin boys just got their permits- so this will be my life, some anxiety while being the passenger 😉🙈 7y
LitHousewife @BethFishReads I was a lot calmer during the drive than I expected to be. Then again, she asked while we were in the driveway, so I didn't have much time to anticipate it. 😂 7y
LitHousewife @Reviewsbylola @Yournewfriendsams She asked Allison to tape her. You get what you ask for. 😂😂😂😂 7y
LitHousewife @jessdean I fully put this in my husband's court, but she caught me at a weak moment when she asked. 🤣🤣🤣 7y
Soubhiville Lol, my sister would have posted that too. She used to sit in the backseat and cry while I was learning to drive. 😅😂 7y
LitHousewife @Soubhiville 😂😂😂 Of course, Allison wanted her turn behind the wheel, too. Nope. Not until you're 14. 7y
Ruri_kaichou I'm hoping self driving cars will be a thing by the time my daughters are old enough. 😌 7y
ValerieAndBooks Eek! I empathize!! My youngest will soon be eligible to test for his permit (16 here in PA) and it doesn't get easier each time ! This is the third kid, and thankfully last, I'll have to suffer through 😱 7y
LitHousewife @ValerieAndBooks Tonight she was begging me to drive in the dark. Uh, HELL NO!!! I'm not ready for that yet. I've created a monster because she's going to want to drive all the time now. I know her. Thankfully I only have one more after this. Bless you on your third trip through this. 7y

Under distracting activities in the driver's license handbook. I have some questions for those who would even consider this.

Reecaspieces I hate to say this....I have done this....studying for a test and driving an hour to school. Shhhhh don't tell anyone 7y
AnnaDesourdy I read at the red lights....that's ok right?! 7y
