pickAlex hit me with all the feels! Check the CWs on this one though. I loved this book, I was laughing and teared up. The grovel was great and the family moments were so cute. But the relationship that develops between Alex and Sutton was so deep. They‘ve both dealt with abuse and parental drug use, but both reacted so differently to that history. I loved seeing them talk things through and fall in love. I can‘t wait to read more in this series.
pickAs the daughter of an alcoholic, I appreciated both characters and loved them. This was a wonderful read that also dealt with hard issues.

so-soThis was an easy read that popped up on Overdrive when I needed something that didn't take too much focus. The story was good and the writing was okay. There were a few typos which I hate catching, but overall it was fine book!

A good contemporary romance. The structure of interchanging pov is classic but in this case, well used. Both Alex and Sutton are full rounded characters that grow and fall for each other. The obstacles they face could have been offered in a superfical way but not so. Kudos to the writer, who dealt with difficult issues well. #romantsy
