pickKate Greenaway Medal - Published October 2nd of 1995. In this book, a little boy lost a nativity set from his grandfather and has a person helping him find it or replace it with a new one. Memories are shared and I really like this book because its heart warming!

Jonathan Toomey is called Gloomy Toomey bec of his dour disposition and the darkness that seems to surround him. pickWow, what a beautiful story. I read it with my kids. They were pretty into it, though it is quite long for a 4&6 year old to sit and listen to....especially when they're waiting for their dessert.
